Preschool Bible crafts are a great way to teach little ones about God’s Truth! After all, as Mamas, we are called to teach our children diligently about God’s Ways. Engaging preschoolers in learning about the Bible can be life-changing for them. Through creative and hands-on activities, young children can explore the rich narratives of faith while developing important motor skills that help to deepen their understanding of spiritual concepts. In this blog post, we’ll explore some fun and age-appropriate preschool Bible crafts that bring the Bible to life, making learning fun and meaningful for preschoolers.

Bible Crafts for Preschoolers: Fruit of the Spirit Craft

You can use these preschool Bible crafts to teach little ones the Fruit of the Spirit! I love this easy Bible craft for preschool kids because it requires a few simple materials. In addition, this activity includes a free printable! Free is always in the budget! In addition to this preschool Bible craft being fun and engaging, the end product can be used as a tool to teach the Fruit of the Spirit on an ongoing basis.

To complete this preschool Bible craft, print the included printable onto cardstock. Next, encourage your child to color the printable and cut out the pieces. Of course, preschool children are at different levels regarding scissor skills. Some will need more help than others. If you are working with a group of children, I suggest cutting out the pieces and putting them into sandwich bags to make things easier for you and them. Finally, help your child attach the yarn hanger and glue the “Fruit” onto the basket. To get complete instructions for this fun Bible craft for preschoolers, click the image below:

Bible Crafts for 3-5 Year Olds: DIY Bible Character Peg Dolls

When it comes to preschool Bible crafts, these DIY Bible character peg dolls are one of my kids’ favorite activities! Not only are they fun to make, they are also a blast to play with. Preschool children love to role-play, and these dolls encourage imaginative play. It is fun for me to overhear my kids acting out Bible stories with the wooden peg dolls they made.

These Bible character peg dolls can be used in a variety of ways. They are handy to use when I’m teaching my kids a Bible story. Preschool children will love this craft because they get to choose how to dress their dolls. No two dolls are alike! While a low-temp hot glue gun can be used to assemble these peg dolls, little hands can use tacky glue for this project. I have found that placing a dollop of tacky glue on a small disposable plastic plate and using a cotton swab for application works well with preschool children. Handing a young child an entire bottle of tacky glue could be disastrous! Get the complete blog post, materials list, and instructions by clicking the image below:

This preschool craft requires cardstock, crayons or markers, scissors, yarn, and a glue stick. Simply have your child color the printable, cut out the pieces, and assemble. As with the Fruit of the Spirit craft I previously mentioned, and if working with a group of children, it would be wise to cut out the pieces beforehand and place them in disposable sandwich bags.
